Anahit is a Los Angeles-based writer who has previously written for Biznob and Rush Hour Daily. She was awarded the H.W. Hill Prize at UC Berkeley for demonstrating excellence in her field of study as well as an interest in the social welfare of the United States. Anahit was also a finalist for the 2017 Payton James Freeman Essay Award, for a nonfiction essay on the subject of change. In addition to her long form non-fiction work, Anahit has earned multiple accolades for her poetry, including runner-up for her poem “Homecoming/Going” in Judd’s Hill annual poetry competition.
